COUNCIL AGENDA

That the agenda for the Council meeting of February 9, 2026, be approved as presented.

That all items listed under the Consent Reports section of the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT Council amend the 2026 Operating Budget as follows: The Town take advantage of one-time funding through the Health Unit to offset the 2026 increase in Health Unit Levy in the amount of $37,016 and add an additional night of snow removal at the expense of $15,000. AND the remaining $22,016 would be put into reserves to offset the increase of the 2027 Health Unit expense.

THAT Council waive the remainder of the 30-day amendment period for the 2026 Operating Budget as amended.

That Council direct Staff to prepare a by-law to enter into a service agreement with for 211 Eastern Region services to be brought back to the Council meeting on February 23, 2026, for contemplation.

That Council direct Staff to return a supplementary report to the February 23, 2026, Council Meeting incorporating questions, comments/feedback, and any applicable modifications received during the Public Meeting held February 9, 2026, for the Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-Law Amendment Applications for 0 Thomas Street, Prescott.

That Council hereby amends the Regular Council Meeting Schedule to reschedule the Regular Council Meeting set for February 17, 2026, to February 23, 2026.

That By-Law 06-2026, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council meeting held on February 9, 2026, be read and passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, and sealed by the seal of the Corporation.
